There has been absolutely no championship hangover for Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and the Oklahoma City Thunder. The reigning NBA champs are sitting comfortably atop the Western Conference at 17-1 as of this writing, and there’s already chatter about whether this team could challenge the 2015-16 Warriors for the best regular season record of all time.

As the Thunder push to keep that momentum alive, Converse is doing the same with the SHAI 001. On Christmas Day, Shai will face Victor Wembanyama and the San Antonio Spurs in a holiday-themed “Winter Red” colorway, shown here for the first time. The shoe breaks from the monotone approach that has defined every release so far, introducing pine green accents on the zipper, tongue logo, and outsole, with a possible hit on the heel as well. It’s not a loud or over-the-top Christmas sneaker, but it makes sense within the minimalist identity that has shaped Shai’s signature line to this point.

The Converse SHAI 001 “Winter Red” is currently listed on the DICK’S Sporting Goods release calendar for December 11th, 2025. Retail is set at $130 USD. See the first look images below and stay tuned for updates in the weeks ahead.
