As Hypebeast rewinds back to last week’s events, we discover how the heritage footwear brand brought its own stamp to the marketplace and which models proved the star attraction amongst the line-up.When it comes to footwear, it goes without saying that Clarks has long been a firm favorite of Londoners. At Hypebeast Flea, shoppers proved the statement couldn't be more true. Donning a selection of Wallabees as well as the more recent Torhill and Lockhill silhouettes, the crowds – including brand ambassador Cat Burns – came out in full force to show their appreciation for the brand. Flocking to the Clarks stall, guests were met with two spaces hosting its latest footwear designs. On the first section, the brand erected wooden podiums holding the new Eastpak collaboration which was showcased against canvases from its accompanying campaign. Alongside it, plush iterations of the Torhill from its latest FW23 collection, including the Cobalt Blue, Black and Sand suede as well as its statement Cow Print, were exhibited on stacked shoe boxes. As shoppers got a close-up of the curation, the brand also treated them to projected visuals of Cat Burns trying out the shoes, revealing how she would wear them day-to-day. With her easy-going fits punctuating the videos, the projection gave the crowds a feel for how Clarks’ shoes can elevate almost any look. Showing how these models could be taken home and restyled with a crafty touch, Tied Up founder Tilly Parmer joined Clarks to host a personalization station. An assortment of beads, gems and dice trinkets were on offer for guests to create their own embellished shoe accessories from beaded laces to removable straps. The workshopping showed how the brand’s models offer a sleek canvas for interpretation and any style adaptation. Get a look behind-the-scenes of Clarks’ stall at Hypebeast Flea now.
