Caitlin Clark’s first signature shoe with Nike Basketball, the Nike Caitlin 1, will debut on October 1, 2026. The model will be released in multiple colorways in 2026 and 2027 in women’s sizes. Nike Basketball’s lineup continues to evolve, and now it’s adding one of the biggest names in the game. After signing a historic deal and quickly becoming one of the most influential players in the sport, Caitlin Clark is finally getting her own signature model. The debut of the Nike Caitlin 1 has been building for a while, and now it’s starting to come into focus.

Clark said the following on New Heights Podcast with the Kelce Brothers: “The technology we’re putting into my shoe isn’t anything Nike has ever put into a basketball shoe before.”
As for the technology, the Nike Caitlin 1 introduces a new innovation known as Nike Opticast. The upper is constructed with cast polyurethane nodes that create a unique textured appearance while helping reduce drag during movement. Nike designed the technology around Caitlin Clark’s style of play, which relies on speed, quick changes of direction, and creating space on the court.
For cushioning, the shoe features a full-length Cushlon foam midsole paired with a forefoot Air Zoom Turbo unit. This combination delivers a responsive ride while maintaining comfort and court feel. The result is a setup built to support Clark’s deep shooting range, fast pace, and ability to score from anywhere on the floor.
