Caitlin Clark Kobe 5, Foamposite “Tianjin 2.0,” And This Week’s Best Releases

Any Travis Scott shoes are a tough act to follow.

With the hysteria around the “Pink Pack” now slowly dissipating, this week’s biggest headlines are the final Caitlin Clark x Kobe release, and a follow-up to a once-Asia-exclusive version of the Foamposite. Yet as always, beyond our headliners, there’s a ton to be aware of over the coming days. Two more “City Connect” pairs for the MLB fans, another sequel in the Nike Air Trainer SC “Atlanta,” and several big market adidas collaborations have our attention.

June 1st (lifestyle) issues another grey gradient as the Air Max 95 “Fresh Mint” recieves its first retro.The Nike Air Max 1 “Cincinnati Reds” delivers a DSG release on June 1st, following a hometown drop at Unheardof on May 31st. A modern classic earns a sequel with the Air Trainer SC “Atlanta.” Expanding out of Beaverton, the Thrasher adidas Glenburn hits on the magazine’s Argentine roots, the Willy Chavarria adidas Copa Mundial Megaride sees the designer keep up his recent vis tech spree, and the New Balance 5030 executes some techy new colorways.

June 1st (performance) starts with the Kobe 9 EM “Draft Day,” a narrative-backed edition of the performance-first Mamba model. The adidas Believe That 1 then sees a wide launch, offering a more cost-cognizant version of Edwards’ line. The adidas HYPERBOOST Edge adds a new flank to adi’s super trainer portfolio and the Luka 5 “Slovenian Glow” sees Doncic with an eye on home.

June 2nd is truly bittersweet: CC’s series on Mamba signatures closes with the Caitlin Clark Kobe 5 “Scrabble.” Elsewhere in Nike basketball, Devin Booker forges a new relationship with the McDonald’s Book 2. Closing with some “GR” fare, the Dunk Low CBGB odes to an iconic NYC venue while the Air Max Ishod Tennis Ball gets in on majors season.

June 4th offers up the Nike Air Foamposite “Tianjin 2.0,” revisiting a highly limited release with a new brightened palette. For the long-time hoopers, the first-ever retro of the Nike KD 6 “Night Vision” should excite. As we build to the World Cup, the Air Force 1 Low “USA” and Air Max 95 “USA” offer lifestyle-ready fan fare. We close with the Salehe Bembury PUMA Velum “Toasted Almond,” tied to Bembury’s own World Cup efforts, and new looks for the adidas AdiStar XLG 2.0.

June 5th sees the wide release of the A Ma Maniere Pegasus Premium as the Whitaker Group retailer takes on a newer Swoosh invention. The first revealed of the “City Connect” series, the Air Max 1 “San Diego Padres” followers for the West Coasters, and the Nike Air Liquid Max “Bright Crimson” brings a beloved color combo to an innovation-forward model.

June 6th delivers the Jumpman’s highlight this week: the Air Jordan 1 Low OG “Phantom/Pine Green.” The Three Stripes take us home with a heavy delivery: the adidas Harden Vol. 10 “Metallic Gold” meets two collabs in the Toy Story adidas and Coca Cola adidas Capsule.
