The Air Jordan 14 “Last Shot” is returning Summer 2027. Sneaker News can exclusively confirm that the iconic Jordan release is dropping next year, bringing back the legendary black-and-red colorway forever linked to one of the defining moments in basketball history.

The Air Jordan 14 “Last Shot” earned its nickname during Game 6 of the 1998 NBA Finals, when Michael Jordan buried the game-winning jumper over Bryon Russell to lift the Chicago Bulls to their sixth NBA championship. At the time, it was widely believed to be the final shot of Jordan’s NBA career, making the moment and the shoes on his feet an enduring piece of basketball lore. While Jordan would eventually return with the Washington Wizards, the nickname has remained synonymous with both the sneaker and one of the sport’s most unforgettable images.

Interestingly, the Summer 2027 release does not coincide with a major anniversary. The Air Jordan 14 “Last Shot” won’t celebrate its 30th Anniversary until 2028, making this return less about commemorating a milestone and more about recognizing the silhouette’s timeless appeal.
