CLOT and adidas are back with another entry in their Superstar Dress series this season. This time, the two have roped BAPE into the project, applying some signature Bathing Ape style to the shoe, complete with green camo accents.

Edison Chen’s partnership with adidas through CLOT has been a very different experiment in collaboration from their previous Nike relationship. The CLOT x Nike shoes leaned more into streetwear, featuring shoes like the Air Max 1 and Dunk in special adaptations. With the Three Stripes, Chen is nearly twenty years removed from those early 2000s projects, and has turned to more formalwear inspiration for adaptations of the Superstar, Gazelle, Stan Smith, and Samba. The flagship model from the collaboration has been the Superstar Dress, a unique adaptation of the classic trainer that has released every few months in new colors.

This season, CLOT and adidas are bringing in a third partner for a holiday release of the Superstar, adding touches of BAPE to the shoes. This pair originally appeared through photographer @ad_sneaks, who was gifted the shoes after ComplexCon in October. The pair comes in white patent leather build, adding brown and olive green tones for the stacked midsole unit. BAPE’s green camo pattern appears on the heels, Stripes, and Shooting Star logos, which are alternated between the left and right shoes. Triple co-branded patches are added to the tongues, while BAPE and CLOT branded lace ornaments in gold adorn each shoe.

The latest pair of CLOT’s adidas Superstar Dress brings in BAPE for a three-way collaboration, and is set to release this week on December 5th, 2025. adidas is expected to release their stock later, currently penciled in for January 1st, 2026. The pair adds BAPE’s shooting star logo along with green camo accents, and will release from both adidas and select retailers like Feature for $220.
