On the morning after securing his Best Album Of The Year at the Grammy Awards, Bad Bunny just added another triumph to the mantle by releasing his signature shoe, the adidas BadBo 1.0. Just 1,994 pairs of the debut brown edition are available now on badbunnyadidas.com.

The new model was first teased back in April of last year, appearing just briefly in his BOKeTE music video. Later that summer, adidas Originals offered a literal peek at the model at an insane archive of unreleased samples, past releases, and forthcoming drops.

The BadBo 1.0 serves as the first chapter of what will undoubtedly be a massive year of footwear releases tied to impactful cultural moments. There are plenty of key dates to look towards, including the upcoming Super Bowl LX for which Bad Bunny has been appointed as the Half-time performer.

The new sneaker combines a number of athletic elements, embodying a bit of a trainer-meets-skateshoe look. It’s got a bit of a mid-top height akin to tennis sneakers of the early 1990s, while a padded ankle offers ample support for movements on stage and on street. Again, just 1,994 pairs were released as a nod to his birth-year, with each pair individually numbered at the heel.
