If previous years didn’t sway you, 2026 solidified that All-Star Weekend is often the hottest time in sneakers, only amplified as the festivities came to Los Angeles and saw every manner of brand, retailer, and collaborator host some sort of activation for those in the metro area.

Will companies up the ante as things shift location to the desert? Likely not, but we’re already getting a sense of what will be in store as 2027’s All-Star Weekend takes over Phoenix. With Jordan Brand maintaining a centerpiece Retro release at ASW for years on years, their efforts will stick close to home: the Air Jordan 5 “Suns” will be a major factor.

Breaking almost 10 months ahead of time, initial mock-up images align with a Shawn Marion PE that puts a purple and orange spin on the “Fire Red” blocking, keeping to the usual white leather script outside of PHX’s trademark tones.
