The Air Jordan 40 will be released on July 12, 2025, in the White and Black colorway. The model, which marks the 40th Anniversary of the start of the Air Jordan line, will debut throughout 2025 and 2026 in various colorways. Retailing for $205, this section will be updated with every Jordan 40 to be released, including a list of upcoming colorways and where to buy.

Jordan Brand will officially debut Michael Jordan’s next signature shoe, the Air Jordan 40, in July 2025. The model combines elements from the Air Jordan 10, resembling a lifestyle shoe, but is equipped for the basketball court.

Trae Young, who recently signed to Jordan Brand, was spotted wearing the Air Jordan 40 in the White and Black colorway. Some initially speculated that the pair could be a different model, but it was confirmed to be Michael Jordan’s latest signature shoe.

Air Jordan 40 Technology

As expected, the Jordan 40 will be upgraded with various tech. The latest signature shoe features a Zoom Strobel built into the sole of the foot to help with change of direction, while the ZoomX foam midsole absorbs shock and overall helps with comfort. In addition, we have a cup-shaped heel for stability, and the lacing system is tucked away, referencing the Air Jordan 10.

Fit is a top priority for many, and the shoes are equipped with an inner bootie for a snug and lockdown feel. The Air Jordan 40 also has lateral support, a leather upper, and a partial semi-translucent rubber outsole.

The first colorway of the Air Jordan 40 to be released will occur on July 12th, 2025, in the “White Black” colorway. Following, we have the “Light Armory Blue” iteration scheduled to debut on August 20th, 2025. The third pair, “Light Arctic Pink,” will drop on September 20th, 2025. The retail price is $205.
