The Air Jordan 15 23RE “Black Muslin” will be released in Summer 2026. A new colorway of the silhouette, this pair will not feature the traditional tongue, but instead a slightly taller shroud.

Jordan Brand will bring back the Air Jordan 15, a model that is either loved or hated. The last time we saw the model debut was in 2021. The return will help kick off releases for Summer 2026, and this pair is known as the “Black Muslin” Air Jordan 15 23RE. This iteration will be different compared to the traditional 15 releases, as the tongue and shroud have been changed.

From our sources, Jordan Brand will revisit the “once forgotten retros” through new colorways and collaborations. This will include the Air Jordan 15, Air Jordan 16, and Air Jordan 18.

This Air Jordan 15 is dressed in a simple Black and Muslin color combination. The overall look will be slightly modified compared to classic AJ 15 releases. Instead of the signature tongue, which is rumored to be inspired by MJ sticking his tongue out, it will be removed. Instead, the pair will have an extended shroud.

Aside from the tongue, everything else stays the same, but is presented in a new color scheme. Highlighted with the woven Kevlar on the upper in Black, the same shade appears on the shroud, laces, and branding on the heels. Additionally, where the material starts by the laces, it will be distressed. As for the lower portion, it comes covered in Muslin, including the Jumpman branding, midsole, and the rubber outsole.
