Air Jordan 10 “Taxi” Releasing May 2027

After keeping a low profile in recent years, the Air Jordan 10 is set for several releases in 2027. The era-accurate Jordan 10 “Red Steel” has been in the ether for a Q1 ’27 release for several weeks, but a new contender is entering the ranks via the Jordan 10 “Taxi.”

Steadfast Jumpman leakers @zsneakerheadz and Sneaker Files report a yellow and black palette, with alternating black/white branding in the spaces between allowing for something of a double entendre interpretation on the “Taxi” title. Beyond the bumblebee palette on tap, the Air Jordan 10 “Taxi” is notable for bringing Nike Air branding to the silhouette for the first time in its history. For fans, that specific touch has been a wedge issue throughout the past decade of Retro history; bring-backs like 2012’s Jordan 4 “Bred” were divisive for departing from their OG editions with Jumpman replacements.

In what some have ascribed as an overcorrection in the opposite direction, Nike Air has graced entirely novel formulations and anachronistic returnees, with pairs from the Jordan 4 “Cave Stone” to this year’s Jordan 5 “White Metallic” bearing it on their backs. Needless to say, introducing it to a new model altogether is their boldest voice yet; only time will tell what fan reaction will be.
