adidas Updates the “Core Black” Samba OG With Metallic Swooshes

adidas’ Samba is on a roll, with this week bringing us a new batch of colorways for the classic trainer. Among them is a premium “Core Black” colorway, with metallic silver accents.

Samba domination continues this week, with adidas delivering a fresh batch of colorways of their iconic trainer for Winter 2024. Tomorrow, the Three Stripes is dropping a handful of new styles, like their “Putty Grey” edition, as well as a premium update to a plain black style, seen here. Dressed simply in “Core Black” for the upper, this pair features a nubuck base layer instead of standard leather, and adds a textured suede for the toe and lacing panels. The heel counters, Stripes, and tongue badges come in a metallic silver material which appears to have a 3M reflective sheen, though this has not been confirmed. Black leather linings add to the premium feel, while an “Almost Yellow” midsole completes the look.

adidas’ latest batch of new colors for the Samba OG are set to arrive tomorrow, December 15th, 2023. Among the handful of new styles is a clean “Core Black” look with metallic silver accents, which will be available from the brand’s website for a slightly elevated $120.
