The adidas Response CL has been at the forefront of the brand’s “dad shoe” trend participation since 2020. Over the last three years, the silhouette has taken on a plethora of styles, although it continues to favor simple ones.

Before summer ends, the sneaker has emerged in a clean mix of “Off White,” “Sandstorm,” and “Gum” colors. The pair’s base layer indulges in a series of mesh and fabric materials that evoke images of Henderscheme’s designs. Overlays throughout the forefoot, mid-foot, and heel deviate in the more prominent “Sandstorm” tone. Underfoot, sole units keep things simple and on theme, donning shades of the upper’s hues.
