Two of the biggest names in entertainment are joining forces with Nike for a collaboration on its most recognizable sneakers. Travis Scott has officially revealed his latest Nike Air Force 1 collaboration, this time connecting with Rockstar Games and the highly anticipated Grand Theft Auto 6. While the partnership itself is enough to generate enormous interest, the Houston rapper is taking an unconventional approach to getting the shoes into the hands of fans.

The collaborative Air Force 1 features a glossy patent leather construction, combining black base layers, camo-printed ripstop nylon on the mid-panel with hot pink overlays and an oversized white reverse Swoosh, the signature design element of Scott’s Nike collaborations. The sneaker also incorporates several references to the Grand Theft Auto franchise, most notably replacing the traditional “AIR” lettering on the midsole with “GTA.”

On the medial side of the midsole, six pink stars reference the maximum Wanted level from the Grand Theft Auto series, an iconic gameplay feature that signifies the highest level of police pursuit. The same six-star arrangement appears on the outsole, further connecting the footwear to Rockstar’s legendary gaming franchise.

Perhaps the most intriguing detail, however, is how Scott intends to distribute the shoes. In a message accompanying the reveal, the rapper explained that only a handful of pairs were made for dedicated gamers, longtime fan pages, and friends who share his enthusiasm for the series. He encouraged those fans to reach out through direct messages with their locations, suggesting that select recipients could receive pairs directly from him.

While a wider retail release has not been confirmed for this particular pair or the other upcoming pairs, Scott’s message indicates that quantities are extremely limited. For now, the Grand Theft Auto 6 Air Force 1 stands as another example of Nike’s increasingly ambitious collaborations across music, gaming, and sneaker culture.
