Our Legacy has built a strong relationship with Converse through their Workshop program, a self-described “waste management service”. Tomorrow, their reworked Chuck 70 returns in a new heavily distressed “Work Chuck” style.

WORK SHOP is an off‑shoot of Swedish brand Our Legacy, founded in 2005 by Jockum Hallin, Cristopher Nying, and later Richardos Klarén. The unique division was launched in 2016 with a more experimental approach to fashion design. WORK SHOP’s purpose is something like a test kitchen for a clothing brand, reworking existing silhouettes with deadstock fabrics, overdyeing, deconstruction, and hand finishes. The sub-label even has it’s own dedicated stores in Stockholm and London, and holds a once-a-year mega sale with tons of modified mainline OL pieces. Their offerings also consistently feature the Converse Chuck 70.

The OL WORK SHOP relationship to Converse began with the brand buying extra pairs of the iconic Chuck 70 and reworking them to fit the brand’s image, complete with their yin & yang branding. Now, OL has a signature style of the iconic basketball shoe with a modified midsole, which forms the basis of each new Work Shop drop. This week, the model arrives in a new “Work Chuck” build, which brings a heavily overdyed black upper to the high-top, paired with a very distressed and aged midsole.

The latest sneaker release from Our Legacy’s Workshop line has been scheduled to drop tomorrow, May 15th, 2026, at 11am CET. This release brings their signature pair of the Converse Chuck 70 back for a heavily distressed “Work Chuck” look, with overdyed uppers and worn soles. Pairs will be available from the OL online shop as well as their Workshop stores in Stockholm and London. Pricing will likely be about $160.
