The Jordan Trunner O/S really got the red carpet treatment as it entered the scene, at the center of a Jalen Hurts-assisted marketing push and various in-person previews. Though it’s only been matter of two months since the silhouette debuted at the time of this writing, still it’s a bit unexpected that things have fallen quiet on the sihouette’s future plans. If the Jumpman’s step into the “suede runner” category has caught your eye, you’re in luck, as a “Year of the Horse” Jordan Trunner O/S breaks the silence.

While 2025’s “Year of the Snake” made for some obvious overhauls of Kobe Bryant’s line and simplistic flips of Nike/Jordan product, having to dig a bit deeper doesn’t mean that Nike, Inc. is skipping the year of the horse by any means. For the crossover trainer, material execution is priority number one, swapping between shaggy suede overlays and tongues, two-tone rope laces, and a triangular mesh foundation. A black/horse palomino palette extends through the rest of the shoe before a tasselled Jordan tag and celebratory patterning through the tongue tags and insoles deliver the “Chinese New Year” atmosphere.
