The Air Jordan 4 "Fear" Is Returning In 2024

As early news on the retro release slate Jordan Brand has in store for 2024 starts to trickle out, it's been revealed that the Air Jordan 4 "Fear" will return for the first time next holiday season. Originally released as one-third of the "Fear" pack in 2013 alongside an Air Jordan 3 and Air Jordan 5, the Air Jordan 4 "Fear" was not an immediate smash when it first released, but has gradually garnered more acclaim in the decade-plus since then, with most aftermarket sales falling between $500-$700. Drawing its inspiration from Jordan Brand's 2008 "Be Legendary" marketing campaign for the Air Jordan 23, this fearful (in name only) take on the Air Jordan 4 features a sleek black-and-grey color scheme that's given a hit of flair by white speckle detailing on its midsole and branded hits on its tongue, heel and outsole. It'll be the second shoe from the "Fear" pack to retro, after the Air Jordan 3 "Fear" made its initial return to the market in November. Although the AJ 3 "Fear" is still sitting on shelves and has even been marked down by some retailers, the Air Jordan 4 "Fear" will likely not see the same feat thanks to its easy-to-wear color scheme and the continued popularity of the AJ 4 as a whole, which is seemingly beginning to challenge the Air Jordan 1 for "top dog" status in the Air Jordan retro lineup. An exact date of arrival has yet to be revealed, but look for the Air Jordan 4 "Fear" to return in the final quarter of 2024 and stay tuned for more info as it's made available.Click here to view full gallery at Hypebeast
