Jordan Brand is pulling another archival color scheme from their vault this year, giving a classic Air Jordan 14 colorway its first retro release ever. The “Forest Green” style originally launched in 2005, and is being prepped for a new release this Fall.

Released in 1998, the Air Jordan 14 marked the final sneaker worn by Michael Jordan during his legendary run with the Chicago Bulls. Designed by Tinker Hatfield and inspired by Jordan’s Ferrari 550 Maranello, the shoe introduced a sleek, aerodynamic look that differed sharply from earlier Jordans. Performance-focused features like Zoom Air cushioning and a low-profile build reflected MJ’s speed and precision late in his career. The Air Jordan 14 is forever tied to “The Last Shot” in the 1998 NBA Finals, cementing its place as one of the most historically significant models in the Jordan line.

Despite it’s standing as a historic model in the Air Jordan lineage, the 14 does not appear on shelves nearly as often as other iconic silhouettes. When it does, fans of the aerodynamic silhouette are usually in for a treat, thanks to a wide range of special colorways like last year’s “Ferrari” retro. This week, we have news regarding a 2005 style, the “Forest Green” pair that released once and has not returned for over twenty years now. The look is simple, combining a white leather upper with deep green accents along the midsoles and Jumpman branding, adding a grey tongue panel to complete the look.

The first-ever retro for the Air Jordan 14’s subtle “Forest Green” colorway is currently scheduled to release on October 31st, 2026. Originally released in the mid-2000s, the clean white & green look has never been rereleased. Pairs will likely be available from both Nike and select retailers, and are expected to come with a $215 price tag.
