Jordan Brand has delivered second chances at a lot of iconic colorways over the years, but some remain locked in their archives. Next year, the Air Jordan 10’s “Sacramento” style from 1995 is rumored to get its first retro release ever during the holiday season.

The Air Jordan 10 “Sacramento” first appeared in 1995 as part of the X’s early colorways, among a set of other styles dubbed the City Pack. At the time, Mike had retired from basketball to pursue a new career in baseball, and Nike needed to fill the gap of Jordan releases with something different. The City Pack contained five colorways, each representing one of the Bulls’ biggest rivals of the ’90s, as well as a Bulls pair. Chicago, Orlando, Seattle, New York, and Sacramento were the chosen cities. Most of these pairs have returned over the years, but the Kings’ black & purple style has never been rereleased after its 1995 launch, until now.

This week, new leaks suggest that the “Sacramento” Air Jordan 10 will release as a retro for the first time ever in 2026. Details are scarce for now, but the current timeline suggest the pair will arrive during the holiday season window, between November and December. The shoe is notably the only pair from the OG City Pack to feature a black leather upper, which was paired with sparing use of a purple accent color for the inner linings and outsoles.

The latest OG style of the Air Jordan 10 to get a retro release does not have a set date yet, but is currently expected to drop during the Holiday 2026 window. The “Sacramento” color scheme in black & purple has never been rereleased, making this a huge step in the history of the AJ10. Pairs will be available from Nike and select retailers and are expected to be priced at $215.
