Donovan Mitchell and adidas are gearing up to introduce the Cavs’ star’s next signature sneaker model. The DON Issue 8 builds on the design language of previous models, while introducing some fun new details, releasing later this Summer.

Donovan Mitchell’s signature line with adidas debuted back in 2020, which feels like a lifetime ago in the sneaker world. Despite being only six years old, the line has already managed to add in a few extra silhouettes on the way, bringing Don & adidas to the eighth installment landing on shelves this year. Details about the next iteration are scarce, but a pair in a “Lucid Tangerine” colorway has surfaced ahead of schedule, giving us a good look at the aesthetics of the new design. The pair features a molded mesh outer shell for the upper, with grid like sections wrapping around the entire upper. The midfoot stability piece returns from both the 6th and 7th Issue models, while a bulbous heel sits at the rear of the shoe, The ankles feature an extra padded layer for a more snug fit, while the DON spider logo is hidden behind a layer of mesh on the tongue.

ADIDAS DON ISSUE 8 “TANGERINE” RELEASE INFORMATION

The next installment in Donovan Mitchell’s signature sneaker line with adidas is expected to launch towards the end of Summer, with this pair arriving on August 15th, 2026. The DON Issue 8 continues the comic-themed sneaker line, with a “Lucid Tangerine” color scheme among the initial releases for the new model. Pairs will be available from adidas and select retailers for $120.
