Nike’s latest Air Max 1000.2 colorway is keeping things familiar; following the recent “Pink Spell” edition, the 3D-printed silhouette has surfaced once again in an identical all-black build, this time swapping the vibrant pink Air unit for a bold Hyper Crimson finish. Beyond the change at the heel, the latest iteration remains virtually unchanged, preserving the sculpted 3D-printed upper that has defined the Air Max 1000.2 since its debut.
Developed in partnership with Zellerfeld, the Air Max 1000.2 continues to serve as one of Nike’s most ambitious explorations into additive manufacturing. The futuristic model has generated considerable interest thanks to its production process, although Nike has so far taken a relatively restrained approach to its colorways.
While an official release date has yet to be announced, the latest Hyper Crimson edition is expected to follow the rollout established by previous launches, with an EQL raffle through Zellerfeld followed by a SNKRS Draw. Retail pricing is expected to remain at $180.
