Serena Williams’ Laceless Nike Air Huarache Launches This Year

Serena Williams has a wave of new signature sneakers with Nike on the way this season, modifying several classics with her own style. Today, the SW Air Huarache surfaced, coming this Fall.

Last Fall, Serena Williams released her first signature lifestyle shoe with Nike, modifying an Air Force 1 Low with a zipper shroud and regal purple color scheme. Now, she is following that release up with three more classic Nike styles that have been altered to fit her design vision. We’ve already seen her pairs of the Dunk Low and Air Max 1, and today, a new Air Huarache has emerged. The silhouette will see some pretty stark changes from its original format, namely ditching the shoe’s midfoot cage and lacing system in favor of a higher cut neoprene collar for a slipper-like fit. The neoprene piece also features a molded topographic pattern, and is cast in white to match the rest of the upper. Some flashes of color include a teal green inner lining, and yellow contrast stitching running up the toes and heel tabs.

Serena Williams’ take on the classic Nike Air Huarache has not yet been announced for release, though they are expected to drop sometime in 2023 alongside her Air Max 1 and Dunk Low. The clean white pair of the Huarache is expected to release from both the SNKRS app and select retailers.
