Pharrell Williams Builds out adidas Virginia Roster With The Water Moc

Both of Pharrell’s own accord and via F&F affiliates like Chief Keef, the adidas Jellyfish is still very much in the waters. The exploded, extra-chunky silhouette no doubt will remain a massive factor once public releases pick back up again, but its peers under Pharrell’s tutelage are a growing presence.

The confirmation of that fact came back in March, when Williams let loose a bottom-up look at three additional silhouettes (or their soles, really). Quickly, one was revealed to be the Vario Flat Earther, with two additionally futuristic siblings yet to be revealed. One piece of that puzzle has now been let loose: the Pharrell Williams x adidas Virginia Water Moc.

Immediately, it’s an extension of the multi-hyphenate’s surprising rebuke of those maximalist themes that the Jellyfish has dominated within. The Water Moc makes good on its promise with a lightweight upper build, utility-minded hardware, and a voluminous yet still slim sole unit, where it makes good on that previous bottom-up view. Despite being an airy composition overall, an eccentric colorway and layered structure up top still give the shoe genuine depth; flashes of silver leather, blue nubuck, and brown mesh collide underneath a sheathed closure.

The Pharrell Williams x adidas Water Moc “Lucid Ray Blue” is expected to release on September 15th, 2026. A $140 retail price is expected.
