Pharrell’s new sneaker with adidas, the Jellyfish, is a top contender for the 2025 Sneaker of the Year. This weekend, P attended Footwear News’ Achievement Awards, rocking a brand new colorway of the silhouette in tan, grey, and blue tones.
Pharrell’s Jellyfish shoe with adidas quickly became one of the most talked-about releases of the year, fueled by its bold design and Pharrell’s cultural pull. Early teasers and public appearances sparked heavy speculation, with all eyes drawn to the exaggerated proportions and unique molded overlay pieces. The shoe’s first appearance was way back in January during Paris Fashion Week, but the model did not release to the public until late in Summer, giving plenty of time for Pharrell to show off new colors and drum up hype for the silhouette.
Now, the Jellyfish is out in the world, with a small selection of colors currently on the market, and even more lined up for releases in 2026. This weekend, Skateboard P showed off another new color of his signature model, while in attendance of Footwear News’ Achievement Awards ceremony. Pharrell took a moment on the red carpet to give cameras, and us, a better look at this new colorway. The pair features a mix of neutral tones across the upper, with shades of tan, warm grey, and off-white making up the layered upper. Black Three Stripes adorn the sidewalls of the model, while a baby blue accent appears on the midsoles.
