Thirty years ago, Kentucky made winning a ‘chip a fashion statement. In February 1996, the Wildcats debuted blue denim uniforms, arguably the most hilariously polarizing uniforms in organized basketball history. Converse jumped into the hoe-down, debuting a Converse CONS in white and blue denim made just for the team.

With Big Blue Nation celebrating the thirtieth anniversary of their National Championship, Kentucky is bringing back an alternate, more appropriate iteration of the blue denim uniforms for the current roster, sparking memories of that title run. Converse, in partnership with Oneness, is partaking in the festivities by bringing back the iconic Converse CONS for the first time.

Oneness will launch the Converse CONS “Kentucky Denim” on February 28th alongside a full collection that includes jersey tops and bottoms. This nod to The Untouchables remains true to the original look of the mid-1990s silhouette, with round polyester laces and throwback shoebox maintaining the OG look.
