New Balance is currently celebrating its 30th Anniversary of the 998, a shoe that released in 1993 and was the first silhouette to to utilize ABZORB cushioning. For the occasion, the popular model will be joining the highly anticipated Made in USA Season 3 collection designed by Teddy Santis in a new “Plum Purple” colorway.
Dressed in a Plum Purple, White, and Black color scheme. This offering of the New Balance 998 comes constructed in a mix of pigskin suede, mesh, and leather materials. It features a Purple base with Grey “N” logos on the sides and White branding on the tongues and heels. Its signature ABZORB cushioning in the midsole atop a Black rubber outsole completes the design.
