Nike’s Air Max 1 has returned in a strong wave of colors over the past year. This week, we got our first look at a bright new ‘Multicolor’ pair, coming sometime later this year.
The Air Max 1 has been a staple for Nike since its introduction in the ’80s. Originally designed as a running shoe, the silhouette quickly became a highly sought-after sneaker thanks to its simple style and endless color schemes, before taking over as a premier collaborative canvas in the early 2000s. This week, a new pair of the all-leather version has surfaced, giving the shoe a makeover with a multicolor palette for the Summer. The look begins with a sail white base layer, adding light tan overlays to the fore and mid-foot sections. The heels come in shades of yellow, with splashes of pink, blue, and green to round out the look.
NIKE AIR MAX 1 ‘MULTICOLOR’ RELEASE INFORMATION
Nike’s next release of their classic Air Max 1 has not been announced yet, though we expect to see this bright new style land sometime this Summer. Dressed in a palette of various colors, this ‘Multicolor’ look will be available from the SNKRS app and select retailers for $160.
