Nike Covers The Air Max 90 In A Muted “Black/Gum Brown”

The Nike Air Max 90 continues to play an important role in the brand’s lineup of products despite debuting 33 years ago.

As the third official sneaker with a visible Air Max unit, the silhouette helped with the popularity of Nike’s industry-changing technology. Although the model has emerged in countless bold makeups, it’s also displayed an affinity for understated looks. Recently, Tinker Hatfield’s creation has emerged in a muted mix of “Black” and “Gum Brown” hues. Profile swooshes interrupt the pitch-dark aesthetic up-top with a grey finish, with other grey tones landing on the TPU eyelets, spine detail, and midsole. Visible Air units underfoot indulge in a “Black” look as well, delivering contrast to the brown waffle-patterned tread below.

No firm nike.com launch details have been disclosed by the brand, but that’s likely to change soon. While you wait, enjoy official photos of the pair ahead.

In related sneaker news, the J Balvin x Air Jordan 3 is set to release in September.
