Designed by industry veteran Sean McDowell, and released in 1998, the Air Max Plus debuted Tuned Air technology, which defined the era as well as those that followed. Still in rotation, Nike Sportswear is now getting ready to release its newest “Pure Platinum” colorway detailed with shaggy suede materials.
Dressed in a Pure Platinum, Metallic Silver, and Sail color scheme. This offering of the Nike Air Max Plus features a White mesh upper with White-to-Silver TPU overlays and Metallic Silver Swooshes on the sides. Other details includes shaggy suede overlays on the tongues, mudguards, and heels with signature “TN” branding in the rear and underfoot. 3M reflective tongues atop a White midsole and Black rubber outsole completes the design.
