Nike Air Max 97 Arrives in Multi-Color "Corduroy"

Nike continues to expand its Air Max 97 offering, which was originally created in 1997 by Christian Tresser. The shoe drew inspiration from the sleekness of Japanese bullet trains and is now arriving in a mulit-colored corduroy iteration for the Fall.This particular colorway collides soft and hard textures with a combination of warm and cool colors. The shoe is constructed with a mostly understated, pink-toned corduroy upper that extends to the tongues. Additionally, the shoe is also covered in maroon leather overlays on the tongue, while tan leather racing stripes outline the shoe's upper alongside dark teal nubuck with pink exposed stitching on the mudguards. The embroidered cursive "AIR" branding is seen on the outer lateral while the inner lateral an embroidered Swoosh.
