Nike continues to adopt slides as a part of its wardrobe essentials. This year, Nike has transformed the Air Max 1 into a slide. By modifying the upper and connecting it to a foam midsole to retain the shoe's aesthetic, the popular slides are set to return next year in the classic "Royal" iteration.The Nike Air Max 1 Slides follows a white, royal blue, black and neutral grey color palette. The shoe features a white mesh strap combined with a grey suede overlay and royal blue mudguards, matching that of the sneaker silhouette. The shoe's footbed is in royal blue, contrasting a white midsole with Air Max heel units and the Air Max tongue labels. The Swoosh symbol is half-embroidered and adorned on both sides of the slide while the rest of the shoe sits atop a rubber outsole.
