New Balance Links With Limited EDT and SBTG for the “Urban Islander” 580

Singapore retailer Limited Edt has teamed up with New Balance and SBTG for their second iteration of the “Urban Islander” project, featuring the 580 and a range of apparel and accessories from other collaborating brands.

Limited Edt is one of the leading sneaker stores across Singapore, with stores all over the country carrying a wide range of sneakers and apparel from our favorite brands. This week, they’ve announced their second iteration of the “Urban Islander” series, following up the project’s 2020 debut which featured the New Balance 327. This time, they’ve selected the 580 as their footwear of choice, giving the silhouette a makeover that outfits it with the vibe of a tropical paradise through the lens of an urban color palette. The shoes feature a black mesh base with matching suede quarter panels, adding rough tan suede to the mudguards and heel sections. Insoles feature a pineapple print as well as the project’s name. In addition to the sneakers, the collection features a small range of apparel and accessories to match, including Hawaiian print shirts and shorts, socks, and a beach-ready tote bag.
