New Balance has been cooking with their 991v2 model since its introduction a couple years back. The model is a staple of their Made in UK program, which produces excellent collaborations and in-line colors, like this new “Potter’s Clay” orange edition.
Since its launch in late 2023, the New Balance Made in UK 991v2 has become one of New Balance’s standout silhouettes, blending heritage craftsmanship with modern performance updates like full-length FuelCell cushioning. The model quickly built hype through high-profile collaborations (starting with Stone Island) and a steady rollout of excellent colorways and boutique exclusives that have continued three years on. This week, the Boston brand has rolled out a handful of new styles for the Made in UK runner, one of which brings another orange tone to the model. The look is called “Potter’s Clay”, and douses the pigskin suede upper in a dusty orange shade. Paired with grey accents and a yellowed midsole, pairs are already popping up at overseas retailers.
