New Balance’s releases of the 991v2 have been nonstop since the model’s introduction late in 2023, a surprise from the low-volume Made in UK program. This week, another colorful Spring style has surfaced, coloring the runner in “Porcelain” green hues.

The 991v2 from New Balance is the latest update in a long line of different iterations on classic 990 sneakers. Introduced late in 2023 on the heels of another updated model, the 990v6, the 991 has taken over as one of the mainstays of the brand’s Made in UK line, releasing regularly in fresh new styles. For nearly three years now, the Boston brand has been pumping out fresh styles for the runner, adjusting their color palettes and hues with each season. Recently, we’ve sene an uptick in brighter, more colorful pairs for Spring, another of which has emerged this week. The latest color scheme for the runner dresses the shoe primarily in a “Porcelain” green tone, a muted shade applied to the model’s pigskin suede outer layers. Vivid teal mesh hides underneath a mid layer of steel grey, while the sole’s Abzorb cushioning units add just a touch of pink.

NEW BALANCE 991V2 “PORCELAIN” RELEASE INFORMATION

New Balance’s latest colorway of the Made in UK 991v2 does not have a set release date quite yet, but has already started to land at some overseas retailers like Dr. Adams. The global drop is likely coming soon. The muted “Porcelain Green” colorway of the 2023 silhouette comes with a bright teal base layer, and will be available from both NB and select retailers, with a $250 price tag.
