Levi’s x New Balance 580 Pack Releases November 2023

In honor of the 150th anniversary of the iconic 501 jean, Levi has been celebrating all year with special collaborations. To keep the party going, they’re teaming up with New Balance for a project featuring the newly launched 580 silhouette.

The Levi’s x New Balance 580 is available in two styles: one flaunts black denim with beige suede accents, the other showcases deep blue denim with grey nubuck. Both sport blue and pink touches inspired by ’70s mountain bikes.

This collaboration tips its hat to Marin County, the birthplace of mountain biking, located just across the Golden Gate Bridge from Levi’s hometown, San Francisco. Inside the shoebox, you’ll find the story:

“In the early ’70s, Marin County birthed the Mountain Bike. Cyclists pushed limits on Mount Tamalpais’s fire roads, using modified paperboy bikes on harsh terrain. Accidents were part of the sport’s evolution. Levi’s® denim became the uniform for these pioneers – durable, protective, and stylish.”

The chunky midsole gives it an outdoorsy look and packs tech for rugged terrain. ABZORB cushions impacts, while ROLLBAR ensures rear-foot stability.
