The upcoming Air Jordan 4 “Comic” has some partners in crime. An Air Jordan 1 pack consisting of Mid and Low styles is set to accompany that July Jordan release, each going its own route design-wise while sharing consistent branding as the connective thread.
The Low is probably the star of the show, rendered in “Summit White/Light Arctic Pink/Silver” with mesh material over the quarter. Jewel Wings logos stand out on the heel, while a sunset-esque gradient Jumpman logo, the same one seen on the aforementioned Jordan 4, lands on the tongue. The Mid follows suit with identical branding but a very different colorway. The upper shifts into all-black while maintaining the mesh quarter and jewel Wings logo, while Opti Yellow adds a nice pop of color underfoot.
The Air Jordan 4 “Comic,” and this AJ1 pack by extension, draws inspiration from an old comic-themed Air Jordan tee from the 1990s, just the kind of obscure reference the Jumpman has been fond of in recent memory.
No release date for the Air Jordan 1 “Comic” pack has been announced, but with the AJ4 due out July 25th, that should provide some clues. See official images below if you’ll be looking to cop.
