Mexican running brand Hermanos Koumori continues to water its budding relationship with adidas. Following a June 2025 collab that saw transformative takes on the UltraBoost 5.0, the partnership has now set its sights on adidas’ hottest trainer – the Adizero EVO SL.

The Adizero EVO SL debuted in late 2024 as an affordable version of the marathon-winning Adios EVO Pro super shoe. It’s since become extraordinarily popular, loved by runners and casual consumers alike for its comfort and shockingly lightweight build. Pharrell got the honor of the model’s first collab last September, and sneaker moodboard Hartcopy has a red polka dot style in the works.

Hermanos Koumori’s pair keeps things close to home with a mostly grey design inspired by the streets of Mexico City. The tongue, laces, and heel section of the outsole come in faded purple, a potential nod to the city’s annual jacaranda bloom. H. Koumori logos appear on the tongue and insoles, complemented by subtle grey-on-grey messaging on the heel and outsole.
