Nike’s ties to Oregon are well-established and well-rooted, beginning with founders Phil Knight and Bill Bowerman’s ties to the university and now represented with a sprawling campus at the center of their global empire. In recent years, those ties have only gotten stronger through the lens of public product, recently visited with the Nike Air Max 90 “Grateful Ducks” but executed through earlier product like the Foamposite, Jordan 5, or the Air Max 95/97.
If you somehow haven’t been satisfied by that stream of new editions, you’re in luck; images have now surfaced of a Nike Air Force 1 Low “Ducks of a Feather” ostensibly on tap for 2026. We begin on the quarter panel and toe, borrowing that viridescent metallic treatment seen on the hybrid Air Max and adding a futuristic edge to the university’s trademark colors. Speaking of, those hues tint a suede Swoosh in pine green, then are reflected onto the laces, before a more neon-tinged tint covers the sockliner and outsole.
To round out, speckled white leather takes up the spaces between. As far as the special edition touches go, alternating “Duck Egg” embroidery on the heel may hint at the official title upon release, while an animated hangtag and two flippers on the lateral heel provide literal representations of that motif. As seen on the Ducks of a Feather archive, this marks the third official visit to Bruce Kilgore’s design, following a hairy suede Oregon PE and a fuzzy follow-up in white and green.
Release details regarding the Oregon x Nike Air Force 1 Low “Ducks of a Feather” remain sparse at the time of this writing, but this three-way collaboration will no doubt be a coveted one as a date becomes clearer. Thus, we’ll be tracking all information surrounding this release in the coming months — keep our Sneaker Release Dates page within reach to stay in the loop.
