Seeing Luka Dončić in a Los Angeles Lakers uniform is still a surreal sight, despite the notorious trade going down months ago. Timing was rather surreptitious for the launch of the Jordan Luka 4; the new signature shoe debuted not long after the Slovenian swapped threads, and the moment the new shoe made its debut alongside some strong social media marketing content by Jordan Brand was as impactful as it could possibly be. While that event doesn’t seem that long ago, we’re already looking ahead to the Jordan Luka 5 signature shoe–and it’s dropping this January.

Already, official images of the new signature model have been revealed, unveiling the fifth silhouette for the first time. Once again, the Luka shoes by Jordan stick to a low-cut stance while being designed for the do-it-all point-guard’s all-around style of play. The tongue features fully reflective surface–a nod to the Air Jordan 5.

On a cushioning standpoint, the Luka 5 will likely see some sort of evolution of the package seen in the 4–this includes a proprietary IsoPlate engineered just for him as well as a Zoom Air unit and Cushlon 3.0.

We do know for certain that a Black/Bright Crimson edition is set to launch this January 15th, 2026 for $135, while a Premium “Illusion Green” is also expected to launch during the first month of the new year. More details to come on our Jordan releases 2026 page.
