Crenshaw Skate Club Teases A Vans Half Cab Collaboration

For local hobbyists, Crenshaw Skate Club has been an influential presence since their founding in 2017. However, for the sneakerhead, they made their biggest splash in 2023, chalking off what’s been a real milestone for imprints in boardsports with their Nike SB Dunk Low. Though churning out link-ups with Nike Sportswear and the LA Chargers in the time since, Crenshaw Skate Club is now poised to make waves in footwear once again, teasing a Vans Half Cab coming soon.

In recent branding and apparel drops, Crenshaw Skate Club has highlighted the African diaspora with interpretations of the Pan-African flag, and to our eye, that same concept is at the heart of this Vans link-up. Though only select angles are available in this teaser, the use of black, red, and green on two contrasting colorways is readily apparent. On the black pair, it’s the most impactful, influencing the packaging, laces, and two Half Cab patches, though the white still foregrounds that tonality within its collar and contrasting outsoles.

We don’t have a firm date for the Crenshaw Skate Club x Vans Half Cab at the time of this writing, but the start of the rollout likely means we’ll know more shortly. For now, peruse initial shots below.
