For nearly three decades, COMME des GARÇONS has played an outsized role in collapsing the boundaries between sneakers, streetwear, and high fashion. Its longstanding relationship with Nike has produced everything from radical reconstructions of familiar icons to stripped-back interpretations that have helped redefine how performance and sportswear silhouettes can exist within the world of avant-garde fashion. Now, for the first time, Rei Kawakubo’s influential Japanese fashion house is bringing that perspective to Jordan Brand with the COMME des GARÇONS Homme Plus x Air Jordan 11.

First revealed during Paris Fashion Week in January, the collaboration immediately became one of the most discussed releases on Jordan Brand’s 2026 calendar, quickly garnering consideration for “Shoe Of The Year” candidacy. After half a year of anticipation, the project is finally ready for release.

As is often the case with CDG’s Nike collaborations, restraint is the name of the game. The Air Jordan 11 arrives in separate all-black and all-white colorways, constructed with premium cowhide leather and patent leather throughout the upper and lining.

CDG extends the Air Jordan 11’s famous patent leather aesthetic downward with a gloss-finished midsole, creating an almost uninterrupted shine from the mudguard through the tooling. Branding is similarly understated, with debossed detailing and a redesigned tongue tag that features “Homme Plus” rendered in the original Air Jordan XI typeface.

The official campaign for the release brings the collaboration back to Japan. Shot by Paris-based photographer Goldie Williams Vericain outside COMME des GARÇONS’ Aoyama flagship in Tokyo, the imagery pairs both Jordan 11s with the label’s structured Autumn/Winter 2026 Homme Plus tailoring, emphasizing the tension between basketball footwear and high fashion that has long defined CDG’s work with Nike.

The confirmed retail price is set at at $358 USD, £354 GBP, and €370 EUR, far more typical of COMME des GARÇONS footwear collaborations that arrive in the 1.5x to 2.0x range of standard MSRPs.
