The Nike Zoom Vomero 5 is once again beginning to pop up more frequently in lockstep with the arrival of warm weather, appealing to both sneaker die-hards and casuals with its comfort, breathability, and on-trend retro running aesthetic. This upcoming “Vast Grey” edition checks two of those boxes, but one is actually done away with in favor of a new texture swap.

We’re talking about the base, which ditches its usual breathable mesh in favor of canvas. Not necessarily ideal for warmer months, but likely more durable and built to wear in nicely over time. Suede overlays with reflective detailing follow suit, as does a slightly darker suede Swoosh.
