While the second apron in the men’s league may blunt the true aims of the term in 2026, it’s still plenty applicable when it comes to Nike’s most talked-about signature athletes. Following Ja Morant’s personally handled first look at the Ja 4, Caitlin Clark herself has taken the lead with her Caitlin 1, now revealing an “Electric Green” arrangement.

We’ll address the elephant in the room up top; given Ms. Clark’s love for Kobe footwear, assuredly this Caitlin 1 will draw some “Grinch” comparisons, as a Kobe 3 Low with similarly slimed uppers recently did. However, backend info already exists for this pair, pointing to the “Electric Green/Varsity Maize/Dusty Cactus/Chlorophyll/Racer Blue” palette you see on display. Subtle darkened trim at the edges of the midsole helps emphasize the three-dimensional feel that the silhouette is already developing, as does the triple-stack Swoosh here executed in yellow and light blue. Gilded “CC” logos on the tongue round out this unmissable effort.
