What a week for Bad Bunny. Fresh off of a Grammy win for Album of the Year, the Puerto Rican artist launched his new adidas signature shoe, the BadBo 1.0. Then, during press for his Super Bowl halftime show this week, he unveiled a new black & white edition of the silhouette.

Benito Ocasio is on top of the world right now. The global superstar from Puerto Rico, known professionally as Bad Bunny, is racking up a series of special honors this week. On Sunday, he attended the Grammy Awards in Los Angeles, where he won the show’s most coveted prize; Album of the Year. Immediately afterward, his partnership with adidas kicked off a new era with the release of his first signature shoe, the BadBo 1.0. The model sold out almost instantly, and adidas quickly announced their follow-up release for next week to keep BB’s fans ready. This weekend, Bad Bunny is the headline performer for the Super Bowl, showing up in the SF Bay Area to give the mid-game performance. During a press event for the halftime show this week, Benito appeared on stage rocking a new pair of the BadBo 1.0 in a colorway we haven’t seen before. The new look is very similar to the debut pair of his Gazelle in 2024, mixing a black inner section with white overlays and blue accents.

Right now, it is unclear if this new colorway of the adidas BadBo 1.0 will see a public release, though we hope they become available to the public sometime this year. Dressed in a simple black & white build, the model could come as a shock drop around the Super Bowl given his halftime show, though we’ll just have to wait and see.
