Asics’ incredibly popular GEL-Kayano 14 will return with more new releases in 2026. Today we have an early look at a simple but stunning “Pistachio” green pair of the retro runner, coming soon.

The ASICS Gel-Kayano 14 has surged in popularity in recent years by blending retro Y2K-era design with modern performance comfort, making it a hit both as a functional runner and a streetwear staple. Originally relaunched in 2020, it gained cult status through influential collaborations with brands like JJJJound and Kith, which elevated it into fashion circles. Its chunky, techy aesthetic fits current sneaker trends, while social media and influencer exposure continue fueling demand worldwide. In fact, StockX has sited the GK14 as one of the most bought and sold models on their platform for several years running.

This week, we have an early look at one of Asics first releases for the Spring 2026 season, getting a jumpstart on lighter colorways the year. Sticking to their guns, the new style features plenty of metallic silver accents over a white mesh base layer. The main color here is “Pistachio” green, which appears along the Asics stripe branding, outsoles, and GEL cushioning in the soles. Additionally, small hits of cream white are added for the tongue, laces, and part of the midsole.

ASICS GEL-KAYANO 14 “PISTACHIO” RELEASE INFORMATION

Asics’ new colorway of their GEL-Kayano 14 model has not been given a set release date yet, but is expected to release sometime early in Spring 2026. Dressed in hues of silver, cream, and white with a nice “Pistachio” green accent, pairs will be available from both Asics and select retailers for $150.
