Members of The Whitaker Group are doling out releases with adidas left and right, after the partnership between the two companies launched early this year. This week, APB has unveiled their Powerphase Puff pack, releasing this week.

Go Skate Day is a staple of the sneaker release calendar every year. Celebrated on June 21st, the annual event started in the early 2000s and cemented by the International Associate of Skateboard Companies in 2003, aiming to make the sport more accessible through events in major cities around the world. Brands with skate-ready sneaker offerings get in on the fun with special projects, often teaming up with relevant brands and riders to debut these new products. This year, Whitaker Group member APB is contributing to the annual holiday with a sneaker release from adidas.

The project features the Powerphase, an adi trainer from 1987 that returned to prominence in 2017 thanks to Kanye West. APB’s version falls under the larger “Do Not Duplicate” series from TWG and adidas, modifying the sneaker with a ‘puffy’ tongue, the same feature that differentiates an SB Dunk from a standard Nike Dunk. The new look has a slightly chunkier look than the original form, and will land in three colors later this week, exclusively at APB. Color options are all neutral, with Beige, Brown, and Grey styles up for grabs. Each pair features a mesh midfoot panel and tongue for breathability, suede toes and heels, and a dash of leather accents to complete the look.

APB X ADIDAS POWERPHASE PUFF PACK RELEASE INFORMATION

The next release from APB and adidas adds to The Whitaker Group’s “Do Not Duplicate” series with the Powerphase Puff, releasing on June 20th, 2026. Raffles from APB for both colorways are currently open and accepting sign-ups until June 18th, linked below. Colorways come in brown, beige, or grey palettes, mixing suede, mesh, and leather in their construction. In support of this launch, APB is hosting a skate tournament in Charlotte, NC on June 21st at 5pm EST. Pairs will come with a $150 price tag, and are not expected to release anywhere else.
