The Air Jordan 10 “Knicks” is finally coming back. Jordan Brand plans to retro the shoe in Fall 2027, giving the 1995 colorway its first ever second release. Adult pairs are expected to retail for $215 through SNKRS, Nike.com, and select stores.
The original “Knicks” pair debuted in 1995 as part of the Air Jordan 10 City Series, a five city set that also covered Chicago, Sacramento, Seattle, and Orlando. Jordan Brand leaned on local color schemes to keep fans engaged while Michael Jordan was still working his way back from a baseball detour. He returned to the lineup that same season wearing the Air Jordan 10, and one of those games came against the Knicks at Madison Square Garden, where he scored 55 points in his No. 45 jersey. New York is the only city from that original pack that has never received a repeat release, even as the rest of the Air Jordan catalog keeps expanding, and a Sacramento version from the same pack is already lined up for its own comeback. The Knicks have gotten retro treatment elsewhere in the family too, including the Air Jordan 8 “Knicks”, which only makes the Air Jordan 10 gap stand out more.
The Air Jordan 10 “Knicks” Design
Reported images of the original 1995 pair, courtesy of Sotheby’s, show the build the 2027 retro is expected to match closely. White leather covers most of the upper, with black hitting the ankle, eyestays, tongue, midsole, and the Jumpman on the heel. The lining and the outsole graphic listing Jordan’s on court accomplishments come in blue (one description narrows that shade to royal blue), while an orange Jumpman sits underneath on the rubber outsole.
Why Has the Air Jordan 10 “Knicks” Never Been Retroed Before?
It’s the last of the five 1995 Air Jordan 10 City Series colorways to get a second release, with the Chicago, Sacramento, Seattle, and Orlando pairs all returning first.
