Aimé Leon Dore’s New Balance 650R Surfaces in ‘UNC’ Blue

Aimé Leon Dore and New Balance continue to collaborate on new releases, fleshing out the NYC brand’s footwear offerings. This week, a new ‘UNC’ color scheme of the 650R has surfaced, coming soon.

Aimé Leon Dore has another round of the New Balance 650 planned for this year, adding more colorways to their extensive list of projects with the Boston footwear brand. Last month, we got an early look at a green & gum look for the high-top trainer, and this week a matching pair has surfaced, this time with ‘UNC’ blue tones added. This style features the same mesh base for the upper, with white leather making up the bulk of its construction. The pale blue shade appears as an accent on the ‘N’ logos, heels, and piping, while a gum outsole completes the look.

Aimé Leon Dore’s next release of their take on the New Balance 650R has not been given a release date yet, though we expect to see them launch sometime this season. Featuring a ‘UNC’ blue color scheme, pairs will likely be available first via the retailer’s launch channels, followed by a wider drop from New Balance.
