adidas Unveils a Greyscale Version of Its Orketro 2.0

Following up on the well-received "Core Black" version of the shoe, adidas has just unveiled its latest version of the Orketro 2.0 and this time, the shoe has arrived in an understated greyscale colorway.

Last year, adidas and its Originals umbrella revealed the first installment of its brand-new Orketro silhouette. The shoe soon evolved with a slew of interesting color schemes and even received collaborative rebirths from the likes of Sean Wotherspoon and Offspring. Now, the shoe is continuing to build on its new-found popularity in the sneaker world with its all-new and summer-ready colorway.

Since the Orketro 2.0.'s inception, it has prided itself on its curved and futuristic overlays. This feature has been bolstered once again with a silver finish that takes over its textile upper and tongue construction. Meanwhile, the greyscale effect continues to increase through the use of the darkened foot stripes along with the crisp white contrasts on the overlays that blend into the adiPRENE cushioning system on the underfoot.

Rounding off the design, "Core Black" and grey mesh takes over the heel and medial mid-foot, this provides increased breathability for the wearer, while the revamped sole unit features a torsional plate that's hit with a nubbed tread underfoot to give increased grip on slippery terrains.
