A Ma Maniére and Jordan Brand will launch an all-new Jordan Air Ship (no longer called the “Nike Air Ship”) come August 3rd.

The unreleased collaboration marks the second time James Whitner and team have worked on the silhouette Michael Jordan wore before the Air Jordan 1. Akin to pairs from the 1980s, A Ma Maniére’s latest project with the Jumpman family features a clean “White” leather base, harkening back to style guidelines from decades past. “Black”-colored accents appear in the form of profile swooshes, collar panels, and inner-lining. Outsoles also indulge in pitch-dark contrast. Elsewhere, “A” and “Nike Air” branding divvy up the pair, further cementing the partnership between Whitner and Jordan’s teams.

The Whitaker Group has taken the unveiling of its latest Jordan Air Ship as an opportunity to share the 12 Maniére Values with the world. Each guiding principle informs the brand’s work, vision, and mission, providing spectators with insight into all past, present, and future linkups between A Ma Maniére and Jordan Brand. The “White/Black” Air Ship – which is accompanied by a Jordan 365 Essentials capsule collection – kicks off the 12 Maniére Values with “Understand The Why,” the principle at the center of the brand’s latest marketing campaign video.

The A Ma Maniére x Jordan Air Ship “White/Black” begins its release process via Local Priority Access at every Whitaker Group store and a General Raffle on the A Ma Maniére website come July 24th. A wider release date for the shoes and Jordan 365 Essentials capsule collection takes place on August 3rd at amamaniere.com. Pricing for the Jordan Air Ship is $140 USD; sizing ranges from Men’s 3.5/Women’s 5 to Men’s 15/Women’s 16.5.
